Alberta has declared a state of public health emergency. Measures are put in place to protect the health care system and to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

In accordance with Alberta Health measures which are being enforced at the clinic, please be aware that in order to receive electrolysis treatment you must show one of the following prior to your appointment:

>Proof of vaccination: please bring your QR code as it will be scanned prior to your appointment.

>Proof of a privately-paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service.

>Documentation of a medical exemption, if applicable.

If you will be providing a negative test result within 72 hours of service please be aware of the following requirements which are:

The test result should be a written or printed copy that indicates the individual has tested negative for COVID-19 on a Health Canada approved rapid antigen, rapid PCR, or lab based PCR test approved by Health Canada or the lab accreditation body of jurisdiction.

  • Valid test results should be a written or printed copy that clearly outlines the type of test, time of sample collection, clear indication of a negative result, and laboratory that completed the test, if applicable.
  • Photos of a rapid test or result taken offsite is not sufficient.
  • A self-test completed offsite or self-produced documentation of a negative test result is not valid.
  • Do not bring completed self-tests or rapid tests to businesses due to communicable disease risk.
  • Tests must not be from the Alberta Health Services public COVID-19 testing system.

These measures apply to all existing and new clients. If you do not present one of the three options prior to your appointment please be aware it will be cancelled. All clients are being contacted prior to their appointments or consultations to be advised of the requirements. 

Prior to each scheduled appointment or consultation every client is also required to answer 3 Covid screening questions in order to confirm their appointment. These questions are sent via text message the day before each appointment.
