Permanent Hair Removal

Stay smooth for longer.

About electrolysis

Have you battled with unwanted hair which is stubborn, time consuming to take care of or damaging to your self confidence? You may be asking yourself: but why electrolysis? Electrolysis is the only safe, permanent way to remove unwanted hair. Hair on your eyebrows, hairline, lips, chin and cheeks. Hair on your arms and underarms. Hair on your legs and thighs. Hair on your breasts and abdomen. Hair on your back, chest or bikini area. You choose the area and we will take care of the rest.

What is electrolysis?
During the treatment, a tiny probe the same size as the hair is gently inserted into the hair follicle, down to the papilla (the part that nourishes the hair). A very low electrical current destroys the papilla, ending further hair growth over time.

Electrolysis can give you clear, hair- free skin in your chosen treated areas. After your series of treatments are completed, we guarantee you will feel better about yourself.

Stop wondering why you ever let excess hair detract from your looks and self-confidence- and why you waited so long to have treatments that would remove unwanted hair forever.

Feel satisfied with every treatment as you will see amazing results! Call us or email us today to book your FREE consultation, meet our certified professional electrologist and talk about your goals you wish to achieve with the help of this procedure. F.A.Q

How does electrolysis remove hair?

A complete description is lengthy and highly technical, but basically the electrologist directs a tiny, split-second impulse into the hair root, causing destruction of the lower follicle.

What causes the growth of extra hair?

Usually it can be traced to hereditary or glandular disturbance. Some types of illness, operations and medication may also be factors. But most hair that women and men want removed is not abnormal growth.

Is electrolysis expensive?

As compared with many other beauty treatments, the cost is moderate. It's a small price to pay for a lifetime of freedom from unsightly, unwanted stubborn hair. Don't you think you owe it to yourself to look into electrolysis now? We can assure its a decision you won't regret.

Is electrolysis painful?

The current may produce a slight discomfort- a "stinging sensation". However, the sensation all depends on YOUR pain tolerance as everyone is different. Our electrologist will work with you to use a current that is not only effective for your treatment and type of hair but also to help make it as comfortable as possible. Some clients describe the sensation as a sudden surge of heat to the area, however they don't feel the filament being inserted into the skin. Many clients also assure that over time with treatments they gain tolerance to the sensation making it a smooth process. Our electrologists use gentle techniques to guarantee maximum comfort.

What if hair seems to return while I'm being treated?

Your own previous attempts to remove hair will be one reason for this, as hair usually takes one to fourteen weeks to regrow. In other words, some growth will be hair that had not yet appeared when you started treatment. But electrolysis WILL remove it PERMANENTLY over a series of treatments. Just as the saying, "Rome wasn't built in a day," electrolysis is a similar concept. Depending on the area and thickness/ type of hair you have, will depend on how many sessions you will need in order to see maximum results. We ask for your patience and cooperation of how you follow up with your skin and treated areas in order to amplify the final product.

What can I do about heavy growth of hair in between treatments?

Your electrologist will recommend how often you need to be treated. Do NOT tweeze, use depilatories, bleach or shave in between treatments as you are disrupting and ruining previous treatments and progress.

Can I have all my hairs removed at one time?

That depends on the individual. Your electrologist will recommend a series of treatments, which will be performed over a period of weeks or months.

How about healing?

Healing after electrolysis treatments is generally rapid and same day with no down time. You may have temporary redness, but it will quickly disappear as your skin adjusts. Your electrologist will recommend an after treatment program.
Some examples of after treatment would be: to gently cleanse the area using a loofa. However our recommendations are tailored to each client individually as we understand everyone is different and may react differently.

What is the right age for electrolysis?

Any age is right, although we don't usually recommend treatment for people past 80 or preteens. Speaking to our electrologist today will allow you to receive the best recommendation for your specific situation.

What areas are typically treated?

For women: Hairline, eyebrows, cheeks, sideburns, upper lip, chin, neck, chest or breasts, abdomen, underarms, arms and forearms, hands, bikini area, legs, ingrown hairs (razor bumps) and feet.

For men: Hairline, bushy eyebrows, ears and nose (external hair only), ingrown beard hair (razor bumps), neck, shoulders, chest, back, and feet.

Speak to an electrologist today about your concerns or trouble areas for the most tailored recommendation.
